The Association for Computing Machinery is an international learned society for computing. It was founded in 1947, and is the world's largest scientific and educational computing society.
The Morehead State Chapter of ACM meets weekly in an effort to supplement our Computer Science curriculum in a fun, collaborative environment. Most meetings consist of some form of "lecture" over a topic, where every member works on the project. We try to stay away from what is going on in the classroom, and focus on something that interests our members.
Our chapter is made up of students from the CS and CIS programs. Other majors are welcome to come, and we will work to make sure that no one gets lost during a meeting.
